LLL

I wanted to do a little post about Le Leche League. Our Bradley Method teacher urged each of us soon-to-be mommies to go to the LLL series. I'm not sure that I would have gone if we weren't asked to, however I am so glad that we were asked to go! I think it's great that there are meetings out there like this to prepare women before we have our babies and to help us after we've started breastfeeding. Like most, right now I am thinking; "how hard can it be?" And like most I have heard a lot of stories about how difficult it can be, and sure, there are stories about how smoothly it went as well. I think that being prepared is the way to go. If it goes great, that's wonderful! If not, I can look back to what I am learning and look to those who have experienced the same thing.

If you're expecting, I'd urge you to look for the LLL series in your area and see how you like them :)

  1. I love you and your birth blog SOOOOO much. And I was reading through your comments and realized you are related to Camilla!

I'm going to try to remember to come back to your blog and hear about how your birth goes. I hope it ends up as wonderful as mine was, I'm really happy I did things the way I did. Good for you for taking charge of your pregnancy and getting the birth you want!

(Also I felt so sad for you when I read your post about how your doctor made you feel stupid. I know how that feels :( )
